The benefits of vitamin D 
Vitamin D is  reducing the risk of colon polyps and cancers of the prostate, reducing the risk of coronary heart disease and blood pressure and lower the risk of developing diabetes type I , plus and increase muscle strength and coordination , along with a greater bone strength.

 Deficiency  of vitamin D
Deficiency of vitamin D  can cause fragility of bone and rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. At lower levels, the deficiency may be characterized by loss of appetite, burning sensations in the mouth and throat, diarrhea, insomnia, problems view and weight loss.
Vitamin D deficiency
Deficiency is much more extensive than previously thought, especially in adults. From a group of people of which only a few were at risk of deficiency of vitamin D, Those people who are  taking vitamin D at doses lower than those provided they had moderate to severe deficiencies.


Natural sources of vitamin D
Natural resources of vitamin D are oil from fish liver, saltwater fish , milk products and eggs contain vitamin D. It is also found in butter, cod liver oil, dandelion leaves, yolk, liver, milk , mushrooms, oats, oysters, salmon, sardines, sweet potatoes, tuna and vegetable oils. Among the plants that contain vitamin D are: alfalfa, horsetail, nettle and parsley . In addition, vitamin D is formed in the body in response to exposure of the skin to sunlight.


Absorption of vitamin D 
Your  intestinal disorders and liver or gallbladder dysfunction can affect the absorption of vitamin D. Some cholesterol-lowering drugs, antacids, some minerals and steroid hormones also affects absorption. Excessive administration (more than 1000 IU / day) may result in decreased bone mass.
